What can your masks filter out?

Equipped with advanced electrostatic microfiber and active carbon filtration technology, our masks are  is designed to protect against the following particles:


Air pollutants (including PM10, PM2.5)

The Airinum Mask is KN95 certified, similar to the American N95 and European FFP2 certifications. KN95 is an industry-standard and means that the mask provides the intended effectiveness of filtering 95 percent of particles with a mass median diameter of 0.3 micrometers. Therefore, our mask can protect you well from PM10, PM2.5, and even smaller particles.


Pollen

The Airinum Mask can protect you from pollen. Our filter has an efficiency of above 95% at 0,3 μm particle size, whereas normal pollen particles are about 10 - 1000 μm in size.


Bacteria and germs

The Airinum Urban Air Mask and Lite Air Mask can help reduce exposure to biological substances, such as bacteria and germs. Please note however that wearing a mask cannot eliminate the risk of infection as it depends on the proper fit of the wearer. The Airinum masks are not designed for clinical environments, such as hospitals or dentist offices.


Smog

The active carbon layer in our filter can help reduce the particles and chemicals in smog.


Automobile exhaust and smoke

The active carbon layer in our filter deodorizes the air and can help reduce automobile exhaust in your surrounding air.


Odor and fragrance

The active carbon layer in our filter deodorizes the air and can help reduce odors and fragrances in your surrounding air.


Animal Allergens

Both of our masks can protect you from animal allergens. Our filter has an efficiency of above 95% at 0,3 μm particle size, whereas normal animal allergen particles are about 5 - 10 μm in size.
